EU-RAP project on radon action plans

2 DG Energy has commissioned a study to review and evaluate national radon action plans established in EU Member States according to the requirements in Council Directive 2013/59/Euratom – the BSS Directive – focusing on the practical implementation of these action plans. The project shall assist the European Commission in assessing compliance of the practical implementation of radon action plans with the requirements of the BSS Directive. The EU-RAP project is conducted by SCKCEN (Belgian Nuclear Research Centre),  SURO (National radiation protection Institute Czech) & Merience (Spain).

Two person from RESPIRE are involved in the REFERENCE GROUP: S. Bigi as coordinator of LIFE RESPIRE Project and Boris Dehandshutter as representative of FANC.
