The Life Cycle Analysis for the project prototypes is complete (Action C2)

The LCA was carried out using OpenLCA open source software and was focused on the comparison of the two prototypes produced by the project in order to give indications for their potential marketing. Furthermore the results were compared with those of a normal small household appliance. The analysis was conducted for the medium and long term. In general, the impact categories concern above all the use of fossil combusters and the issue of CO2 (Climate Change).

Different methods were used during the analysis. The results of the Mid Point ILCD are reported in the following two graphs. As evidenced by pie charts, similar categories of IMPACT are present for the two prototypes.
